Forums: Code of Conduct

1. Christian values will be upheld at all times. Keep your posts professional and respectful with all registered users and members. Generally, if it isn't an appropriate thing to say or do on an ISI game server, then it isn't appropriate in the forums. Example: calling someone an idiot on our game servers will usually get you a warning.

2. No hateful or demoralizing content (ie: gossip, swearing, masked swearing, racial, sexual, or religious bashing) will be tolerated.

3. Using Capital letters in posts is discouraged as it implies shouting to the reader. Instead, please use emoticons to relay your feelings.

4. Political arguments are discouraged. Constructive political debate is acceptable.

5. Private messaging is the preferred way to resolve differences. Communicate privately to the person you were offended by as opposed to making a public scene out of it. If this does not resolve your problem, bring it to the attention of ISI leadership for mediation.

6. All minors (under 18 years of age) are prohibited from giving out any personal information about themselves; including date of birth, address, or phone number.

7. With that said, all adults registered on the forums (member or not) are not to ask a minor for any personal information.

8. Any member that is a minor (under 18 years of age) that would like to post a picture of themselves and/or their family must first obtain permission from their parent/guardian. Personal pictures are only to be posted in the appropriate forum: http://isichristianclan.net/ISI/viewforum.php?f=27.

9. If you sign into the forums and see that your original post and all responses under it have been deleted, do not re-post asking what happened to the original thread. If you like, you may email leadership at leadership@isichristianclan.net and they will provide you with a reason after the original posting and responses have been reviewed.

*Posts that violate these rules may be deleted immediately by a moderator (or a member of the leadership team) with no reason given to original poster. When a post is deleted, the post will be copied to the leadership forum for possible disciplinary measures.

**Private messaging is not actively monitored by ISI leadership. However, the same forum standards apply to PM's and ISI leadership does reserve the right to review private messages in extreme situations.

Biblical Conflict Resolution:
Please use PMs to deal with personal problems between individuals. Please consider these passages, pray about it, and make changes in how you are dealing with people if need be. If a problem between people arises publicly, please do not take sides and post your opinion. Allow the problem to be solved between the individuals and leadership if needed. Thank you and God Bless.

Matthew 5:22-24 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca’ meaning worthless, is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell. “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.

Matthew 18:15-17 “If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

James 1:19-20 My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.

Biblical Debates/Discussions:
While we encourage sincere questions and honest discussions, as a Christian Clan we are cautious of posts that cross the line and enter into what we would consider heretical (false teachings about our Christian faith). As leaders, we are responsible if we provide a platform for such beliefs and one person goes astray because of it. Therefore, when efforts to curb these topics to a Biblical standard seem unsuccessful, one or more members of the leadership team can, at their discretion, delete the thread or individual posts therein. If this happens, one or more of the posters involved will receive a warning via pm indicating the problem. There may be a delay from the time your post is deleted until the time you receive your warning pm. If you realize that one or more of your posts have been deleted (or an entire thread), that should indicate to you that there is a problem with it and you should patiently await a warning and do not continue with the topic until you're given a go ahead from leadership.
